The Mission

The Rainbow Intersection Summer Enrichment (R.I.S.E.) Program's mission is to provide a highly structured environment that will enable rising 7th and 8th graders to have fun, work to strengthen key academic areas, receive academic guidance and develop the life-skills necessary for success.  These young students, regardless of race, color or socio-economic background will receive the educational, social and spiritual preparation necessary to succeed.

Guiding Principles

In order to complete our mission, the R.I.S.E. must:

  1. Have God first.
  2. Hear the concerns of the youth as well as the parents.
  3. Set goals and objections.
  4. Provide a safe and secure environment for the children, teachers, and parents.
  5. Employ the most qualified adults.
  6. Network with viable resources in the Triad.
  7. Strive to maintain a strong fiscal and academic plan.

Register your child for RISE 2011

We are now enrolling students for RISE 2011!  With support from our community partners, we were able to have 25 kids enrolled in RISE 2010.  Thank you!
